Mini Truck Driver at Evans Industries Limited in Lagos

Primary duties

• Strategy routes and logistics for productive and on-time completion
• Liaise with clients to organize pickup and dispatch plans, modify dispatch status, and handle any concerns or setbacks.
• Follow traffic legal provisions, rules, and safety guidelines while pushing, which includes speed limits, hours of service, and weight restrictions.
• Preserve precise records of mileage, fuel usage, and dispatch initiatives, executing logbooks, trip documentation, and dispatch documents as necessary.
• Track vehicle effectiveness and servicing & maintenance needs, status updates any mechanical challenges or faults to servicing & maintenance employees for fix and servicing.
• Manage paperwork and recordkeeping associated which includes, dispatch receipts, and waybill, making sure precision and thoroughness.
• Help with loading and unloading initiatives at pickup and dispatch sites, using or other tools as needed.
• Preserve cleanliness and tidiness of trucks, carrying out consistent cleaning and servicing & maintenance to guarantee safe and hygienic operating terms.
