Overview

We are looking for a Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) Technical Workspace in Kwara State to assist the State Supervisory role during planning phase, execution, and supervising of combined health service dispatch programs. The concentration will be on progressing consolidation of SRHR, and communicable diseases (e.g., HIV, TB, malaria), and strengthening the use of strategic information for strategic judgment and programme advancement. This strategic position requires an exceptional individual with occupational competence in multi-disease programming who can establish reliable information operational structures, ensure evidence-based strategic judgment, and assist adaptive management approaches while preserving rights-based supervising frameworks.

Duties Engineering guidance:

  • Assist offering of technical direction on SRHR, combined service dispatch, and communicable disease programming.
  • Head the development and adjustment of evidence-based resources, standard procedures, and development materials.
  • Ensure consolidation of SRHR and communicable disease solutions across health system levels and channels.

Programme Design & Execution:

  • Assist the design and execution of creative, customer-centered, and gender-responsive interventions.
  • Work alongside consortium entities, associates and programme teams to guarantee technical quality and alignment with national and worldwide guidelines.
  • Support to operate organizing, financial planning, and status updates methods.

Capacity Strengthening:

  • Build the capacity of sub-national participants, which includes government counterparts and executing associates, in SRHR and combined service dispatch.
  • Coordinate development, training, and helpful oversight for health workers and programme employees.
  • Head development of complete Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning development curricula covering combined programming approaches
  • Train emerging Monitoring and evaluation experts and assist south-south learning exchanges
  • Assist development of state Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning capacity for combined health programming

Necessary Credentials

  • At least a Bsc in Community health, Statistics, Epidemiology, Development Studies, Community-related Sciences, or relevant field
  • Additional development in Monitoring and evaluation structured approaches, data governance, or strategic information operational structures preferred
  • Accreditation or improved development in strategic information, plus M&E
  • Proven expertise with combined health programming, ideally joining SRHR and communicable disease parts and at least 5 years of expertise
  • Understanding with Nigeria’s national health rules and SRHR frameworks and deep knowledge of health operational structures, gender equity, and rights-based approaches to health.
  • Previous collaborate with donor-financed projects and understanding with various donor Monitoring and evaluation qualifications
  • Clear articulation, facilitation, and skilled in writing.
  • Fluency in English (documented and verbal) – crucial
  • Practical understanding of the language of Kwara people is an asset

Operating Terms:

  • Onsite role with consistent site visits to project sites (approximately 50% commute time)
  • Commute to rural and urban networks for data collection, supervising visits, and skills development initiatives
  • Involvement in workshops, participant sessions, and assessment initiatives that may require extended site presence
