Forklift Technician at Tempo Paper Pulp and Packaging Plc in Ota, Ogun

Role summary

• Carry out standard procedure inspections, diagnostics, servicing, and repairs of forklifts and other mobile tools.
• Execute preventive and corrective servicing & maintenance according to manufacturer strategic guidance and organisation servicing & maintenance plans.
• Diagnose issues electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and fuel operational structures concerns in forklifts.
• Keep precise service records and servicing & maintenance data records for each piece of tools.
• Ensure accessibility of operating forklifts through on-time settlement of faults and parts replacement.
• Track tools effectiveness and report to higher support tier concerns requiring procurement of spares or replacement.
• Guarantee adherence with safety procedures and advance a safe operating environment.
• Coordinate with spare parts stock team to guarantee prompt accessibility of critical parts.
• Work alongside generation/logistics to timetable servicing during low-use periods.
• Offer IT assistance for purchase and initiating of new forklifts.
• Carry out any other obligations as may be allocated by the Maintenance technician or Manager

Necessary Certification

At least Requirement: OND / Trade Test in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Tech, or relevant field. Added Advantage: Higher national diploma or Accreditation in Forklift Servicing & maintenance or OEM-specific development.

Expertise:

At least Requirement: 3 years practical experience preserving forklifts and associated material managing tools Added Advantage: 5+ years in a production operations or logistics setting.
