Maintenance technician at Class Suite Hotel and Apartment in Ikeja, Lagos

Duties

• Diagnosing issues and Repairing: Recognizing and fixing problems with Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning operational structures, plumbing, electrical operational structures, appliances, and other hotel tools.
• Preventative Servicing & maintenance: Executing planned servicing & maintenance duty to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of tools and operational structures.
• Visitor Guest accommodation Servicing & maintenance: Dealing with concerns reported by guests, which includes broken furniture, malfunctioning appliances, or plumbing challenges.
• Fixture and Appliance Installation: Installing new fixtures, appliances, and other items as needed.
• Painting and Finishing: Preserving the interior and exterior appearance of the hotel through painting, patching, and other finishing duty.
• Grounds Servicing & maintenance: Making sure the cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel grounds, which includes landscaping and snow removal (if relevant).

Accident and threat control:

• Safety Inspections:Carrying out consistent inspections to recognize and handle possibility safety risks.
• Crisis-management:Responding promptly to crisis conditions, which includes power outages, leaks, or structural loss.
• Adherence with Rules:Making sure adherence with supporting safety and building codes.

Other Duties:

• Document Keeping: Preserving records of servicing & maintenance initiatives, which includes work orders, repairs, and inspections.
• Stock Management: Coordinating the stock of servicing & maintenance inventory and tools.
• Visitor Information exchange: Interacting with guests to handle servicing & maintenance matters and offer top-notch support.
• Partnership: Operating with other hotel employees, which includes room maintenance services, front office, and management, to guarantee smooth processes.
• Oversight (for some positions): Monitoring the work of other servicing & maintenance employees and making sure duty are finished productively.

Qualifications

Interested applicants should have an NCE / OND certification with 2-5 years work expertise.
