Head SOC Incidence Response Evaluator at Interswitch Group in Lagos

About the Position

The Head SOC Issue resolution process Evaluator will be in charge of pushing and maturing the company’s cyber issue resolution process programme. This position ensures prompt discovery, investigative, containment, and recovery from guard incidents across cloud and on-premise environments.

Duties

• Lead the company’s guard issue resolution process programme, making sure the discovery, evaluation, containment, eradication, and recovery from cyber incidents across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Head and assist a team of guard analysts and engineers during active inquiries and escalations.
• Formulate and constantly enhance issue resolution process playbooks, making sure alignment with MITRE ATT&CK and NIST 800-61 guidelines.
• Organize cross-operational issue resolution process initiatives with IT, Engineering, Lawful, Adherence, and Communications teams.
• Carry out root cause evaluation and post-system issue assessments to recognize regulate differences, endorse risk reduction plans, and track long-term remediation.
• Execute threat intelligence relationship and warn enrichment to enhance discovery fidelity and reduce response time.
• Preserve the company’s system issue register and supply executive-level status updates on system issue practices, KPIs, and risk reduction results.
• Lead tabletop exercises and red/blue team simulations to strengthen preparedness and response capabilities.
• Work alongside guard technical groups to enhance discovery and automate common triage processes.

Position Qualifications

• Bsc in Computer Science, Cyber security, or relevant field (postgraduate degree or equivalent expertise will be an added advantage).
• 7+ years of practical experience in SOC processes, cyber issue resolution process, or threat discovery (with a minimum of 2 years in a top level or head capacity).
• Solid understanding of issue resolution process lifecycle (discovery, evaluation, containment, eradication, recovery) across cloud and on-prem environments.
• In-depth understanding with industry frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST 800-61).
• Verified ability to head and organize cross-operational issue resolution process endeavors with IT, Engineering, Lawful, and Adherence teams.
• Competence with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and threat intelligence channels; capability to enrich warnings and reduce response times.
• Proficient in log evaluation, malware/network forensics, and root cause evaluation.
• Expertise conceptualizing and carrying out tabletop exercises, simulations, and playbooks.
• Clear articulation competencies with a track document of getting ready executive-level documentation and supplying clear system issue findings.
• Specialist qualifications preferred: GCIH, GCFA, GNFA, CISSP, CISM, OSCP, or equivalent.
