Chief Data engineer at Migo Money Incorporated in Nigeria (Remote)

About the Position

As the Chief Data engineer at Migo, you will take full ownership of our credit risk modelling plan, from the design and development of credit scoring, underwriting, and predicting models to the comprehensive management of ML pipelines. You will analysis and execute cutting-edge modelling methods, making sure strong function engineering, thorough performance check, and ability to scale deploying into generation. Your contributions will directly lead lending decisions, financial effectiveness predicting, and market penetration plans. Partnering with cross-operational teams, you will generalise initiatives for new markets, submit application causal inference and statistical industry standards, and preserve high guidelines in information accuracy and model compliance, assisting Migo supply in charge and analytics-based financial goods across Nigeria and beyond.

Duties

• Full ownership of ML models and credit risk modeling structured approach
• Credit scoring models (probability of default, survival evaluation models)
• Underwriting models (credit line task and risk evaluation models)
• Predicting models (projected financial payment and key indicators)
• Ownership of ML pipelines and processes (ETL, data preprocessing, function engineering, model development, model deploying)
