Position Overview

Under the general direction of the Health Manager -Immunization and monitoring from the Health manager for polio and Head of Health and HIV and in close partnership with the Head of SBC section, head Gender & Development Manager, the incumbent will be part of the Standard procedure Immunization Operating Group (RIWG) for HPV at national/state levels to assist the efficient and productive routinization intensification of the vaccine, IT assistance is essential to coordinate strategic organizing, execution, supervising and status updates of the process. Meaningful youth relation of young people, the incumbent shall assist the development of information exchange messages, taking into deliberation their creative thoughts and ambitions, recognize key/applicable influencers and gatekeepers, Chief security officer collaboration, school & group channels, modalities of service dispatch, and what and how to combine additional youth-friendly solutions. The adolescent health and community-related mobilization IT assistance shall link the wider state immunization/health education/polio team with the adolescent and youth-friendly voices (youth groups), gatekeepers (parents, religious and group key stakeholders, government and policymakers, etc), and channels (schools, health facilities, youth-friendly centers), in addition to the polio eradication channels.

Duties

• Assist strategic micro organizing sessions and co-formation sessions with adolescents and young people for thorough state and LGA level roll-out strategies.
• Assist the States to combine adolescent girl-centered approaches for the organizing of requirement-production initiatives for the routinization of HPV to the selected states through UNICEF Site Workspaces
• Assist the state information exchange and community-related mobilization teams to generate and execute an evidence-based, combined Adolescent, requirement production and mobilization strategy for the NVI, help the state Health team for polio community-related mobilization creative invention.
• Assist the state ACSM (Support, Information exchange, and Community-related Mobilization) operating group for the HPV routinization and polio marketing to assist the development of adolescent-friendly social platforms messages in addition to polio community-related mobilization messages.
• Assist recognition, synchronization, and relation of state-level and LGA-level participants and Chief security officer associates (education, women affairs, Nonprofit organizations, CBOs, faith-based, youth, etc.) for public involvement, mobilization, mapping of adolescent-friendly channels, networks, and enumeration of qualified girls in and out of school.
• Assist the LGA team to Recognize facilities and map catchment zones for facility-guided group outreaches (hub and spoke model)
• Collaborate with and mobilize Adolescent and Young People (AYP) channels at national and state levels to guarantee meaningful relation of AYP during planning phase and development of creative IEC materials, roll-out, supervising, and recordkeeping of the HPV marketing

The incumbent will:

• Send a work strategy at the beginning of each month to the manager which includes the strategies for initiatives and commute if there are any.
• Assemble a state micro strategy for adolescent mobilization and the support information exchange and community-related mobilization strategy for the HPV routinization intensification and polio OBR marketing.
• Map the state-level and LGA-level participants (education, women affairs, Nonprofit organizations, faith-based, youth, etc) for public involvement, mobilization, mapping of adolescent-friendly channels, networks, and enumeration of qualified girls in and out of school.
• Offer technical monitoring and organize the Chief security officer associates for HPV public involvement and requirement advancement.
• Formulate creative IEC materials for the mobilization of Adolescent and Young People (AYP) channels and public involvement.

At least Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in Community-related and Conductual Adjustment Information exchange, Community health, or other community-related/conductual sciences or public health zone (Hygiene promotion, Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Health Education, bio-medical sciences, community health) or associated area, with emphasis on participatory information exchange, information exchange organizing, community-related mobilization, and participatory analysis.
• At least five years of progressively in charge work expertise in public/adolescent health or public health and Community-related and Conductual Adjustment Information exchange, the organizing and management of community-related information exchange programs, which includes immunization. A profile in community health and robust leadership abilities would be highly assessed.
• Expertise in ongoing progress updates in the fields of adolescent health & immunization information exchange theory, inspirational psychology, adult learning theory, indigenous media, digital information exchange, group company and involvement, strategic information exchange organizing, conduct evaluation, formative analysis, and assessment of information exchange interventions.
• Expertise in interdisciplinary approach in program development and execution in conduct and community-related adjustment information exchange, community-related mobilization, and conductual adjustment.
• Expertise and expertise to arrange and execute development, which includes the development of curricula and structured approaches.
• Computer expertise, competencies, and practical expertise, which includes internet navigation, network, telecommunications and various workspace applications
