Videographer & Editing spacialist at Hugo Technologies in Nigeria (Hybrid)

Primary duties

• Arrange and assemble unedited material into captivating video content, in sync with scripts, storyboards, or innovative summaries.
• Refine videos to enhance framework, pacing, and visual stories visual precision, using scene changes, cuts, and framing to elevate narrative creation.
• Combine sound design, voiceovers, and audio selections to enrich graphics effect.
• Work alongside UI/UX professionals to integrate animated visuals, title cards, and animated visuals where needed.
• Submit application regular color correction and grading to improve tone, corporate identity alignment, and polish.
• Enhance video result across multiple channels and outcomes, making sure quality and uniformity across data layouts.
• Carry out thorough quality assurance assessments to supply clean, error-free concluding cuts.
• Stay current with post-processing practices, resources, and processes, and propose enhancements for effectiveness and result standard.

Preferred Profile:

• Competence in widely adopted editing software which includes Adobe Premiere Pro, Concluding Cut Pro, or DaVinci Settle.
• Practical understanding of After Outcomes or similar resources for animated visuals and motion enhancements will be an added advantage.
• Outstanding color grading competencies and expertise operating with UGC content.
• Understanding with sound editing and mixing, and optimizing videos for different channels and outcomes.
• Deep knowledge of file data layouts, codecs, frame rates, and export settings for web and broadcast.
• Interest in AI-powered editing resources and emerging technical solutions (e.g., Adobe Sensei, Runway, Descript), with a mentality for experimenting and combining them into the post-processing process.
• Detail-oriented eye for description and quality assurance.
• Robust visual stories instincts with an eye for framing and flow.
• Capability to oversee various projects and deliver on time in a dynamic, cooperative environment.
• Receptive to response, with a initiative-driven approach to changes and innovative issue resolution.
• Clear articulation and planning abilities, with a robust sense of ownership over allocated projects.
