Job Description

We are hiring to fill the DSTV Technician positions at our Lagos resort.
Applicants must be open to travel when necessary.
As a Cable Technician (DSTV), you will play a key role in installing, preserving, and diagnosing issues DSTV satellite television operational structures at the resort.

Execute DSTV satellite dish system setups
Align satellite dishes precisely to guarantee most effective signal reception.
Install decoders, cables, and connected tools according to DSTV guidelines.
Diagnose and diagnose issues system problems connected with DSTV solutions.
Carry out standard procedure servicing & maintenance checks to guarantee tools and linkages are in good requirement.
Replace or fix faulty parts and tools as needed.
Verify that every system setups and repairs meet DSTV quality benchmarks and standard procedures.
Carry out inspection procedures to confirm that all tools is functioning correctly.
Preserve precise records of system setups, repairs, and client engagements.
Finalize service documentation and send them without delay.
Follow safety procedures and industry standards while operating with electrical and satellite tools.
Use personal protective tools (PPE) as necessary.

Interested applicants should have applicable credentials with 3 - 7 years work expertise.
Demonstrated expertise as a Cable Technician with specific competence in DSTV system setups and servicing & maintenance.
Expertise in satellite television operational structures, decoders, and connected tools.
Robust technical and analytical abilities.
Competencies in electrical wiring, low-voltage operational structures, and capability to read technical diagrams and system schematics.
Physical fitness to operate at heights and in confined spaces, in addition to capability to manage resources and diagnostic tools.
