Top level Pipeline Design Engineer at Desicon Engineering Limited in Rivers

Duties

• Pipeline Engineering design matters which includes outputs which includes Wall thickness calculation documentation, Stability Evaluation documentation, Pipeline Stress Evaluation documentation, Pipeline Corrosion Management Outputs, Pipeline Alignment Sheets, Requirements, Datasheets, Standardized processes, Pipeline Process and Servicing & maintenance Strategy in addition to well as MTOs
• In charge of Pipeline Engineering associated technical documentation as may be necessary inside the projects
• Oversee interfaces necessary for pipeline Engineering design
• Ensure design adherence with legally defined guidelines, requirements and rules
• Evaluate of External vendor Topographical, Geotechnical and Soil Resistivity survey documentation emanating from the on-site survey carried out making sure they meet project technical/survey requirement
• Check in with External vendor Topographical, Geotechnical in addition to Soil Resistivity survey on-site initiatives pertaining to and applicable to the nurturing of the engineering design and building of the pipeline making sure that these surveys are carried out in line with authorized project standardized processes and Requirements
• Engage in technical safety assessments as necessary
• In charge of Pipeline discipline FEED design verifications
• Offer Pipeline Engineering input in readiness for of offer bundles
• Organizing regulate and synchronization of Pipeline Engineering initiatives in accordance with timeline and man-hour requirements
• Participate technical sessions with vendors as may be necessary
• In charge of participating inter-disciplinary technical explanation and advancement sessions across multiple projects & tenders
• In charge of checking and authorizing of pipeline engineering outputs
• In charge of documenting discipline associated lessons learned during project implementation
• In charge of coordinating discipline associated technical queries and deviations
• Project setup and synchronization of Technical Offer Reviews (TBEs) across multiple materials/items/engineering support solutions procured for the projects upon receipt of vendor/OEM technical proposals from procurement department
• In charge of evaluate of discipline associated Vendor documents
• Manage any other position processes from time to time targeted at making sure that project initiatives and associated on-site matters operation in line with the industry standards
