Position Overview
- The American Tertiary institution of Nigeria (AUN), a private American-style institution located in Yola, Adamawa State Nigeria, is looking for a strategic and agile Associate Vice President for Registration to head and create the tertiary institution’s registration executive team.
- This executive team position manages the Admissions and Student Affairs units and plays a vital function in shaping the student expertise from hiring process through graduation.
- The Associate Vice President (AVP) will offer aspiration, executive guidance, and synchronization for a complete registration plan that boosts student success, gains student retention and persistence, and aids AUN’s purpose of superiority and entry.
- The AVP will use data-informed strategic judgment to oversee and assess hiring process programs, admissions methods, student relation, and assist operational structures.
- The successful applicant must possess significant expertise in the American education system.
Admissions Management:
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate admissions rules, processes, outreach, and communications.
- Ensure productive, transparent, and student-centered admissions methods.
- Track candidate practices and transformation rates, endorsing regulatory framework or procedural modifications as needed.
Credentials Necessary:
- MSC in Higher Education Management, Registration Management, Teaching Executive guidance, or relevant field.
- A minimum of 7–10 years of progressive executive guidance expertise in admissions, registration management, or student affairs in a higher education setting.
- Exhibited success in rising student registration, retention, and graduation results.
- Expertise with business intelligence and student information operational structures (e.g., Banner, Power BI, CRM channels).
- Cross-cultural skilled and comprehension of the unique hurdles and avenues in a multifaceted, international tertiary institution environment.
Preferred:
Prior expertise operating in West Africa or with international/American-style institutions in foreign countries. Exhibited comprehension of the Nigerian secondary and post-secondary education operational structures or a readiness and capacity to learn swiftly
