Biology and Agricultural Science Tutor at Sitrid International School in Mini-Orlu, Port Harcourt - Rivers

Position Overview

We are looking for a certified and passionate Biology and Agric tutor to join our middle school team. The successful applicant will be in charge of training biology and agriculture to students in 7-9, producing compelling lesson strategies, and nurturing a love of learning in a helpful and welcoming classroom environment.

Primary duties

• Train biology and agriculture: Formulate and supply compelling lesson strategies to students in Year 7-9.
• Keep parents informed about student advancement and participation during parents-teachers meeting in addition to
• Produce a helpful learning environment: Promote a positive and welcoming classroom environment that promotes student involvement and relation.
• Evaluate student advancement: Formulate and execute evaluations to assess student comprehension and advancement.
• Work alongside teammates: Collaborate with other teachers to formulate syllabus and distribute industry standards.
• Liaise with parents.

Qualifications

• A Bsc in Biology, Agriculture or a relevant field
• Training accreditation: TRCN
• Expertise: Previous educational background experience, especially in biology and agriculture, is an asset.
