Position Overview

We are seeking a certified Carpenter to cut, fabricate and install wooden and other systems according to requirements. Your position will entail operating in the factory to generate quality and operational furniture goods

Duties

• Read and comprehend plans, sketches, and design requirements.
• Choose suitable materials (wood, metal, fabric, etc.) based on design and capability.
• Examine materials for quality and appropriateness.
• Measure and mark materials according to requirements.
• Use hand resources, power resources, and machinery to cut, shape, and form parts.
• Assemble parts using nails, screws, adhesives, and other fasteners.
• Ensure joints are secure and pieces suit together correctly.
• Examine finished pieces for precision, quality, and compliance to design requirements.
• Make necessary modifications or repairs.
• Preserve and fix technical resources.
• Keep the work zone clean and structured.
• Collaborate with other team members, which includes UI/UX professionals, carpenters, and finishers.
• Offer input on design enhancements and manufacturing workflows.
• Use protective tools and ensure a safe operating environment.
• Preserve thorough data records of work methods and finished duty.

Credentials

• At least SSCE and Finalization of a identified apprenticeship or at least 5 years of expertise as a carpenter.
• Additional accreditation like a trade test may be necessary
• An logical mind for issue resolution
• The capability to operate alone or as part of a small team
• Capability to adhere to guidance closely
• Meticulousness.
