• Coordinate with government participants to assist regulatory framework dialogue on gender and community-related addition.
• Engage with traditional, religious, and group key stakeholders to advance welcoming norms and procedures.

Credentials

A Bsc in Gender Studies, Development Studies, Sociology, Community-related Work, or a relevant field a postgraduate certification is a plus. A high level of recurrent demonstrable expertise, in GESI-associated positions in sophisticated development program in Nigeria, is crucial, ideally attentive on peacebuilding, compliance and adaptability situations.

Talent and competencies:

• Exhibited competence in designing and submitting application GEDSI frameworks and resources in donor-financed program.
• Expertise operating with FCDO, USAID, or other development associates.
• Verified ability to participate with multifaceted participants, which includes government, CSOs, and marginalised groups.
• Verified ability to supply direct Technical Support or development to government institutions and group entities.
• Understanding with international industry standards on gender, disability, youth relation, and welcoming compliance
• Outstanding facilitation, development, and skilled in writing.
• Outstanding comprehension of dispute dynamics and gender-associated vulnerabilities in North-West and North-Central Nigeria.
• Well known and networked with other GEDSI champions and entities in Nigeria.
• Hausa linguistic ability or other local dialects are a plus.
• Readiness to commute to site sites routinely.
