Job Description
About the Position
The Media and Communications specialist plays a key role in shaping public perception and compelling participants. The duties comprise of conceptualizing and executing information exchange plans, coordinating media relations, producing content across multiple channels, and making sure regular communication tone to advance the company's purpose, aspiration, and targets. They also serve as a spokesperson.
Core Actions:
- Comprehension humanitarian situations and application of humanitarian principles:
- Make sure that program targets and initiatives uphold the principles of the key national and international humanitarian frameworks, codes and obligations
- Combine recipient responsibility principles into the approach
Certification
- Bachelor's degree/Higher national diploma in; Mass information exchange, Journalism and or a associated community-related science discipline
- MSC in above fields is a plus.
- At least 2 years of applicable operating expertise in gender transformative programming and integration ideally in a humanitarian and/or development contexly
