Distillation Plant Handler at Grand Oak Limited (GOL) in Ota, Ogun

Objective of Position

To oversee and supervise the distillation process, preserve tools, and follow generation plans to guarantee the productive and safe generation of premium quality ethanol in the factory.

Chief Accountabilities

• Operates and observes the distillation tools and regulate for the productive and efficient generation of Ethanol according to quality benchmarks
• Executes consistent sampling and running test of ethanol to guarantee quality requirements are fulfilled and preserve product uniformity.
• Executes standard procedure servicing & maintenance and cleaning of the distillation tools to meet tools reliability and prevent generation disruption.
• Modify operating parameters which includes temperature, pressure, and flow rates to enhance the distillation process and accomplish wanted product characteristics.
• Preserve precise data records of generation data, tools effectiveness, and any concerns encountered to track and assist business evaluation and ongoing development.
• Changes fermented molasses to RS and then to ENA to generate premium quality spirits that meet the necessary purity and quality benchmarks for further use in distillery goods.

Role expectations Education:

At least requirement: At least an OND in a science-relevant field.

Expertise: 

At least requirement: At least 0 - 2 years operating expertise in a distillery plant.
