Quantity survey specialist at Jamub Group of Companies in Abuja (FCT)

Position Overview

We are seeking a initiative-driven and meticulous Quantity survey specialist to supervise the binding and financial components of building projects. The successful applicant will be in charge of cost organizing, agreement administration, procurement methods, and making sure that projects are fulfilled on time, within financial plan, and to the highest quality benchmarks.

Duties

• Getting ready budget forecasts and financial plans for projects at various stages of design.
• Executing expense management and finance reporting throughout the program duration.
• Analyzing and evaluating tenders and agreements.
• Supervising milestone tracking and measuring scope changes.
• Analyzing and discussing terms external vendor and supplier quotes.
• Getting ready and issuing advancement requests, difference orders, and concluding accounts.
• Carrying out risk, value management, and expense management methods.
• Offering guidance on binding requests and procurement plans.
• Coordinating with with customers, advisors, service providers, and internal teams.
• Proper utilisation of HR in addition to materials.

Qualifications

• Higher national diploma / Academic qualification in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent
• Must be duly accredited by a specialist compliance-related body
• Possessing a proven work expertise of over 4 - 7 years in property and road building.
• Good expertise in cost accounting or cost management
• Robust executive competencies
• Effective communication competencies
• Ethical and hardworking towards work
• Robust bargaining ability.
