- We're hiring to fill the position of a Pharmaceutical technician.
- This position is in charge of dispensing medications, wrapping prescriptions and offering outstanding counseling for the patients seen at our clinics.
- The pharmaceutical technician will also be in charge of preserving adequate stocks of medications and making sure medications are stored to maintain their quality.
Duties
- Offering friendly and alert client support is paramount. Manage tickets/ escalations increase by the client care team, response questions, and direct them to suitable team or staff.
- Helping in coordinating prescription orders. This includes records entry duty which includes producing new prescriptions, updating patient information, updating already produced prescriptions, updating the statuses of prescriptions, and other applicable duty.
- Preserving adequate inventory levels of medications and other pharmaceutical goods. This comprises supervising stock, restocking shelves, and warning the pharmacy professional and pharmaceutical technician when inventory levels are low.
- Offering managerial assist to the pharmacy team, which may comprise of submitting paperwork, arranging records, and coordinating incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Managing with suppliers and service vendors is critical for productive pharmacy processes. You will oversee connections with vendors, place orders, track supplies, and settle any concerns that may arise.
- Operating closely with pharmacists, other pharmacy technicians, doctors, nurses and client care employees to guarantee smooth processes and offer outstanding client support
Qualifications
- Certification of Pharmaceutical technician is mandatory.
- Registration with board of directors of Pharmacy and ongoing practicing permit as a Pharmaceutical technician is essential.
- At least 1 year expertise operating as a Pharmaceutical technician.
- Capability to process prescriptions electronically and verify that every information is precise and finalize.
- Capability to offer patient counselling (advising in various applicable languages will be an added advantage).
- Understanding with and capability to use technological resources, which includes the Ms office tools of goods and stock software.
- Outstanding documented and spoken communication information exchange.
- Capability to convey medical notions in clear layman's language.
- Stock and stock leadership abilities.
- Good expertise in dispensing commonly prescribed medication
