Job Description
Position Overview
The Top level Servicing & maintenance Manager will head and oversee a team, monitoring the distribution of task volumes and the daily processes inside the workshop. This position requires the position holder to organize, timetable, track, and allocate assets, while coordinating with with both within and outside the organization key connections to guarantee work is finished on time and meets quality benchmarks.
Key Responsilities
- Organize, timetable, and audit fleet servicing & maintenance repairs, which includes preventive, initiative-driven, system failure, predictive, mechanical, and electrical repairs for tractors, trucks, and trailers (both articulated and non-articulated).
- Formulate servicing & maintenance standardized processes and ensure their proper execution.
- Carry out facility inspections to recognize and handle any concerns.
- Strategy and oversee all fix and installation initiatives, making sure on-schedule finish and quality benchmarks.
- Allocate task volumes and oversee servicing & maintenance employees.
- Track tools stock and place orders as required to preserve business continuity.
- Track expenditures and regulate the servicing & maintenance financial plan to guarantee cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee connections with service providers and service vendors, making sure premium quality solutions and on-schedule finish of duty.
- Establish and execute servicing & maintenance standardized processes, making sure they are followed repeatedly across the workshop.
- Examine electrical and hydraulic operational structures in buildings and vehicles to guarantee they operation correctly and safely.
- Preserve servicing & maintenance data records and documentation on routine initiatives, highlighting concerns and outcomes.
- Guarantee adherence with workplace safety and wellness rules, preserving a safe operating environment for all employees.
- Ensure full execution of workshop Standard Operating Standardized processes (SOPs) to preserve regular processes.
Qualifications Education:
Bsc in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a associated technical site. Additional qualifications in fleet servicing & maintenance, workshop management, or logistics processes are a plus.
Expertise:
- At least 10 years of related experience in vehicle servicing & maintenance and workshop processes, ideally inside the logistics, transportation, or heavy business-related vehicle industry.
- Practical experience with multi-axle articulated and non-articulated trucks, trailers, tankers, and other heavy-responsibility logistics tools.
- Established history in coordinating workshop teams, planning servicing & maintenance duty, and making sure quality benchmarks in repairs and servicing.
