Mechanical engineering specialist - Packing Strategy at Dangote Industries Limited in Ibese Plant, Ogun

Position Overview

Strategy and organize all packing plant generation and servicing & maintenance initiatives to prevent disruptions to packing plant processes and ensure targets for the plant are fulfilled.

Duties

• Engage during the formation and articulation of the plant’s servicing & maintenance strategy.
• To guarantee that mechanical reliability is carried out properly & safely as per the requirement of the plant/ terminal.
• To carry out servicing & maintenance of packing plant's mechanical tools.
• To guarantee proper room maintenance services of position zones and plant in general.
• Supervise communication link with the applicable Health, safety, and environment staff for the offering of personal protection tools and safety development
• Ensure adherence to the use of personal protection tools during respective change to prevent accidents.
• Ensure efficient on-the-position development of packing plant operators.
• Execute any other obligations allocated by the Chief, Packing Plant from time to time

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree./Higher national diploma in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent 2 to 9 yrs expertise
• Demonstrated expertise as a Mechanical engineering specialist or in a similar position
• Deep understanding of the cement packaging machines/ processes and standardized processes
• Solid understanding of methods, methods and standardized processes participated in servicing & maintenance repairs and replacement.
• Solid understanding of safety procedures and methods in mechanics; and significant expertise in parts and inventory necessary.
• Capability to diagnose issues, diagnose and fix tools’s with precision and speed
• Good executive guidance and supervisory competencies
• Good issue resolution and evaluation competencies
• Capability to pay attention to description
• Good connection management and verbal abilities.
