Quantity survey specialist at Regeneration DDC in Lagos

Role summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and meticulous Quantity survey specialist to join our team full time. The Quantity survey specialist will be in charge of estimating project expenses, coordinating financial plans, tracking and making sure cost effectiveness throughout the building process.

Duties

• Organize thorough budget forecasts for building projects, contemplating all materials, work, and tools expenses.
• Evaluate project strategies and requirements to recognize promise cost risks and avenues, proposing alternatives that preserve standards
• Oversee and bargain outsources with suppliers and service providers to guarantee cost-performance.
• Assessment of Material Specification and prices of Vendors /Subcontractors against Project Requirements.
• Value finished work, oversee financial plans and supervise payments
• Organize and send bid proposals for projects, making sure they are precise and attractive.
• Track milestone tracking and expenses, recognizing and status updates any variances from the authentic estimate.
• Organize and send bills for finished work, making sure prompt payment from customers.
• Evaluate and handle scope changes to the project scope, making sure cost implications are comprehend and authorized.
• Contribute to task sessions and offer cost-associated guidance to project participants.
• Preserve precise records of all project expenses and financial financial record.
• Organize concluding cost documentation for projects, evaluating and clarifying any deviations from the authentic estimate.
• Stay current on building market trends, cost data, and rules.
• Support to the development and execution of cost management plans for the company.
• Recognize and execute avenues to enhance cost effectiveness in projects.
• Work alongside other experts which includes architects, engineers, and PMs to attain project and business targets.
• Follow specialist ethics and guidelines, making sure the honesty and reliability and precision of budget forecasts and documentation.
