Job Description
Position Profile
We are looking for a devoted and performance-focused Health, safety, and environment Consultant to join our team. As an Health, safety, and environment Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting an environment that fosters safety, health, and ecological duty within our company. You will collaborate with management and employees to formulate, execute, and track Health, safety, and environment rules and standardized processes that guarantee adherence with local and international rules.
Duties HSE Adherence:
- Formulate, execute, and track Health, safety, and environment rules, standardized processes, and operational structures to guarantee adherence with local, national, and international guidelines.
- Carry out consistent on-site inspections and audits to recognize risks and endorse corrective actions.
- Verify that every initiatives in-field follow safety procedures and industry standards.
Participant Relation:
Serve as the point of reach out for compliance-related bodies during inspections and audits. Work alongside project teams, facility managers, and occupants to align on Health, safety, and environment targets and targets.
Credentials
- Bsc in Work-related Workplace safety and wellness, Ecological Science, or a relevant field
- At least 5 years of expertise in Health, safety, and environment positions, ideally in the property industry
- NEBOSH accreditation is compulsory
- Applicable Health, safety, and environment qualifications, which includes ISO 45001, are necessary
- Deep understanding of Health, safety, and environment compliance guidelines relevant to Nigeria and international industry standards
- Demonstrated expertise in conceptualizing and executing Health, safety, and environment rules and standardized processes
- Proficient abilities in risk evaluation, system issue investigative, and root cause evaluation
- Competence in Ms office tools and understanding with Health, safety, and environment management software
- Outstanding verbal and professional writing competencies
- The applicant must be a resident of Port Harcourt, Rivers State
- Robust logical and analytical abilities
- Expertise in ecological management operational structures will be an added advantage
