Role summary

We are seeking a highly proficient and skilled lawyer with over 5 years of lawful practice to join our team. The preferred candidate will possess a solid experience in corporate law, litigation, or general lawful professional guidance, with a verified ability to manage sophisticated lawful matters and offer sound legal advisor. The successful applicant will possess outstanding analysis and verbal abilities, and the capability to oversee various cases or projects at the same time. Duties

  • Offer counsel and counsel to the company or customers on various lawful matters.
  • Prepare, evaluate, and bargain lawful documents, agreements, agreements, and other crucial paperwork.
  • Stand for the company or customers in lawful proceedings, which includes court appearances, hearings, and arbitrations.
  • Carry out lawful analysis and stay informed on applicable regulations, rules, and lawful precedents.
  • Advise on risk mitigation strategy and lawful implications of business decisions, processes, and projects.
  • Guarantee adherence with local, state, and federal legal provisions and rules.
  • Oversee a project sample of cases or lawful matters, making sure due dates and key focuses are fulfilled.
  • Help in addressing disputes and clashes through bargain, mediation, or litigation.
  • Work alongside other departments or lawful experts as necessary to handle lawful concerns.
  • Offer learning and direction to entry-level lawful employees or internship, if relevant.

Qualifications

  • A Law Academic qualification (LLB) from a identified tertiary institution.
  • At least 5 years of expertise as a practicing lawyer in [specific site, e.g., corporate law, business-related law, litigation, etc.].
  • Certification to practice law in Nigeria, which includes being a member of the Nigerian Bar Affiliation (NBA).
  • Demonstrated expertise in composing and analyzing agreements, agreements, and lawful recordkeeping.
