About the Position

Are you committed to radio, narrative creation, and linking with an audience? Do you possess the creativeness and specialized abilities to both generate and show captivating radio content? We’re seeking a agile Producer/Speaker to join our team and assist bring our station’s voice to life. As a Producer/Speaker, you’ll wear two hats — producing premium quality radio content behind the scenes and supplying it on-air with energy and credibility. You'll play a main responsibility in shaping the sound of our station, conceptualizing authentic segments, and interacting with listeners across channels.

Primary duties

• Formulate, generate, and show live or pre-documented radio shows and segments
• Produce authentic creative thoughts and produce content that resonates with our audience
• Script drafting, sound editing, and playlist curation
• Carry out live interviews and coordinate compelling discussions
• Work alongside the wider generation and editorial team
• Verify that every content aligns with broadcasting guidelines and station standard procedures
• Preserve social platforms presence and assist multimedia content when needed.

What We’re Seeking

• Interested applicants should have a Bsc
• 2 - 4 years demonstrated expertise in radio generation and/or demonstrating (project sample or demo necessary)
• Robust spoken communication and narrative creation competencies
• Outstanding sound editing and scripting capability (expertise with resources like Adobe Audition, Audacity, etc.)
• Assured on-air presence with a relatable, compelling style
• Capability to operate independently and deliver within strict timelines
• Enthusiasm for audio selections, news, culture, or whatever specialty our station serves
• Cozy with social platforms and digital channels.
