Job Description

We are looking for a highly proficient and skilled Seismic analyst to join our geoscience team.
The successful applicant will be in charge of interpreting seismic data to assist exploration, site development, and reservoir characterization endeavors.
This position is critical in recognizing subsurface systems and possibility hydrocarbon reservoirs.

Analyze Two- and three-dimensional seismic data collections to produce structural and stratigraphic maps
Combine seismic analysis with well data, geological models, and petrophysical data
Recognize and map possibility hydrocarbon traps and potential opportunities
Offer geophysical input to reservoir models and drilling strategies
Engage in potential opportunity assessment, risk evaluation, and volumetric estimation
Work jointly with geologists, reservoir engineers, and drilling teams
Organize and show technical documentation and strategic guidance to within and outside the organization participants
Stay informed on improvement in seismic processing and analysis technical solutions.

Bachelor’s or MSC in Geophysics, Geology, Earth Sciences, or a relevant field
At least 8 years of related sector expertise in seismic analysis
Robust competence in analysis software which includes Petrel, Kingdom, or similar resources
Deep knowledge of seismic purchase and processing principles
Expertise with both exploration and site development projects
Robust logical, information exchange, and public speaking
Capability to operate independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Expertise operating in [deepwater, onshore, frontier, etc. – customize based on your process]
Understanding with quantitative analysis and seismic inversion methods
Exposure to machine learning or AI resources in geoscience.
