Position Overview

We are looking for a devoted and compassionate Carer to join our team. The preferred candidate must love operating with children, show patience, and be capable to assist their physical, emotional, and community-related development in a warm, caring manner.

Primary duties

• Offer routine care, oversight, and assist for children in the nursery and early years classes.
• Help with feeding, toileting, hygiene, and nap times.
• Preserve a clean, safe, and stimulating classroom/play environment.
• Assist teachers in arranging age-suitable initiatives that motivate professional growth.
• Observe and documentation children’s advancement, matters, or unusual conduct to the class tutor/school management.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under care at all times.
• Promote positive connections with parents, presenting response as required.

Qualifications

• At least certification: SSCE/OND/NCE (Early Childhood Education accreditation is a plus).
• Expertise in childcare, crèche, or early years environment preferred.
• Warm, patient, and empathetic personality.
• Effective communication competencies in English (Yoruba fluency is a plus).
• Capability to operate in a collaborative environment and with guidance.
• Dedication to the school’s values of love, discipline, and superiority.
