Mechanical engineering specialist at AIM Consultants Limited in Abuja (FCT)

Role summary

Design, Oversight, Initiating & project setup of business servicing & maintenance documented guide for electromechanical tools’s to comprise of Petroleum sector tools’s & piping, Hydro-mechanical Tools, pumping station, Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning operational structures (Chillers, DX, VRV & Unitary) and Ducting, Fire fighting & other engineering operational structures.

Duties

• Oversight of building and installation works of building mechanical solutions
• Project setup of bid proposals which includes; thorough drawings, specification and Invoice Of Quantities
• Engage in tender technical evaluation and talks.
• Evaluate and authorize workshop drawings for building.
• Coordinate with PMs, Architects, and other engineers to organize design of engineering projects
• Organize and send project and advancement documentation as suitable
• Organize testing workflow strategize oversight test on electromechanical tools and validate test outcomes.
• Oversee tools initiating program and sign-off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree / Master's degree 
• B. Eng Mechanical Engineering
• A member of a professional body: COREN (Certified member) Added advantage
• Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) - Corporate member
• Nigerian Institute of Mechanical Engineers (NiMechE) –member
• At least 5 years work expertise in similar role.
• Suitable selection of tools’s to comprise of Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning Load calculations Duct & pipe sizing.
• Bid proposals project setup to comprise of Thorough drawings & BOQ’s
• Oversight of Building Projects
• AutoCAD and or Revit familiar
• Evaluate of workshop drawings for building
• Deep understanding of codes and standard for designing building mechanical solutions
