Role summary
The Top level Accounting Manager will be accountable for managing the development and execution of accounting operational structures, internal regulates, adherence with accounting principles, and risk mitigation strategy. This position comprises coordinating various accounting initiatives to guarantee compliance to applicable guidelines and rules, in addition to external audit qualifications.
Duties
- Duties includes responsibility for monitoring outstanding bills and wage processing processes, coordinating every month account closings, and getting ready documentation to assist balance sheet and income statement.
- Work alongside within and outside the organization auditors during audits, making sure that all financial procedures meet compliance guidelines.
- Interacts at all levels and with financial plan owners or other participants to generate prompt, productive and precise end of month close and all internal management and finance reporting through yearly documentation.
- Evaluate the impact of statutory accounting procedures and studies rules and direction to guarantee accurate application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Recognize avenues for process upgrades and efficiencies inside the accounting operation.
- Engage in strategic organizing and support to financial predicting and financial planning methods.
- Carry out thorough audits of financial documents to recognize any discrepancies or violation concerns.
- Organize complete accounting records and documentation for external auditors during yearly audits.
- Explore any anomalies and work jointly possessing applicable departments to correct concerns and strengthen financial honesty and reliability.
- Make sure that all general ledger entries are precise, finalize, and posted without delay.
- Routinely evaluate records for precision and thoroughness, and ensure they are retained in accordance with lawful and corporate rules.
- Use audit response to enhance accounting methods and improve entire adherence.
- Organize any necessary end of year recordkeeping for auditors and compliance-related agencies.
- Implement other applicable obligations as allocated.
Credentials
- 8+ years’ expertise in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership position
- Bsc in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or relevant field
- Accredited Public Accounting officer (CPA) necessary
- Expertise in public auditing is essential
- Solid understanding of accounting guidelines and GAAP for legal adherence
- Skilled in financial system and business intelligence and automatic control resources
- Asset distribution and logical thinking competencies to analyze data and forecast economic practices
- Strong insight of accounting processes like finance reporting, financial planning, outstanding bills, outstanding receivables, and auditing
- A initiative-driven approach to delivering outcomes.
