Quantity survey specialist / Procurement specialist at Ultimus Holdings in Victoria Island, Lagos

Position Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and strategic Procurement specialist with expertise in quantity surveying, specializing in Tools Leasing & Procurement to supervise procurement, discussing terms, and obtaining tools for business needs. The preferred candidate will oversee vendor connections, ensure cost-performance, and ensure adherence with procurement rules and rules.

Core tasks and Duties

• Recognize and assess suppliers for leasing and buying tools in line with organisation needs.
• Agree on conditions, pricing, and agreements with vendors to guarantee favorable agreements.
• Organize leasing structured, which includes agreement implementation, payment plans, and servicing & maintenance terms.
• Oversee procurement methods, which includes buy orders, requisitions, and supplier assessment.
• Track tools lease renewals, making sure quick intervention to prevent service disruptions.
• Guarantee adherence with procurement rules, compliance obligations, and standardized best practices.
• Keep documentation of buys, leases, and supplier agreements for audit and status updates purposes.
• Collaborate with internal departments to comprehend tools qualifications and guarantee promptness dispatch.
• Formulate cost-saving plans to enhance procurement effectiveness and reduce expenditures.
• Stay informed on industry trends, pricing, and new suppliers for attractive advantage.
• Help in preserving organisation quality assurance programme
• Utilize digital tools, safety measures, and information exchanging to grow productivity and profit margin
• Manage adjustment order requests and projection upcoming requirement
• Oversee materials/tools stock
• Preserve and build trusted connections with key clients, customers, associates, and participants
• Positively stand for the organization at all times through a success-oriented and specialist demeanor
• Collaborate with team members to finalize obligations as needed

Credentials

• Bsc in Stock Chain Management, Business Management, Procurement, or a relevant field.
• 5 years of expertise in procurement, leasing, or stock chain management, ideally in tools leasing.
• Robust bargain, logical, and analytical abilities.
• Expertise in procurement legal provisions, vendor management, and deal discussion.
• Competence in procurement software and Ms office tools.
• Clear articulation and connection management abilities.
• Task juggling skill, deliver on time, and perform in high-stress situations.
