Servicing & maintenance Agent at Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) - Belgium in Maiduguri, Borno

Duties

• Carry out all minor works (building, repairs, etc.) requested by the BFO, in addition to any assignment recognized by the employee and authorized by the BFO.
• Execute consistent servicing & maintenance of MSF system setups / tools / infrastructures (base, warehouse, health facilities, outreach projects, etc.), especially in line with a preventive servicing & maintenance strategy (standardized processes to follow, timetable, etc.). • In the event of faults / deterioration, diagnose the issue and propose possible initiatives to the BFO and/or technical adviser.
• Execute any necessary tests / checks to verify the proper process of the installation or tools after fix. • Ensure efficient management, protection, and care of work resources (which includes on-site system setups under the employee’s oversight) and keep the workshop tidy.
• Make sure that there are adequate stocks of consumables and materials for minor repairs and requests to operational manager to oversee those stocks, placing internal requests in time.
• Keep all documents connected with system setups / tools / infrastructures and their servicing & maintenance status updates sheets in order and modify them routinely.
• At once inform the direct supervisor of any challenges that arise in the course of the work, especially with regard to fault / deterioration, loss, loss, theft or attempted break-ins.
• Help logistics department for any associated work needed.

Qualifications

Interested applicants should have an Higher national diploma / OND certification with a minimum of 2 years work expertise.
