Job Description

Duties

  • The staff will be in charge of the items listed:
  • Submit application the crisis-management standardized process where and as required.
  • Documentation and close out Unsafe Acts and Unsafe Terms
  • Serves as license to operate signatory and manage safe system of work.
  • Submit application the Health Safety Guard and Environment regulatory framework, legislations relevant to crude oil move and export.
  • Carry out First Line Servicing & maintenance (FLM) on Power Production and key allocation operational structures.
  • Carry out planned Preventive Servicing & maintenance (PM) and Corrective Servicing & maintenance (CM) on
  • Electrical HV/LV tools in the Terminal.
  • Follow plant business standardized processes.
  • Implement routine information exchange and end of run handover.
  • Organize tools for servicing & maintenance interventions plant separation etc.
  • Work alongside other disciplines to implement organized initiatives.
  • Work alongside Plant operators to implement front line servicing & maintenance initiatives in the plant.
  • Oversee the initiatives of the frontline servicing & maintenance team.
  • Diagnosing issues of safety critical tools and management system.
  • Assisting the production worker in preserving facilities.
  • Help the servicing & maintenance team to cope with high number of initiatives to sustain asset honesty and reliability/tools accessibility.
  • Adhere with Health, safety, and environment procedures and standardized processes.
  • Help in making sure Technical Honesty and reliability and safe process of new process & utility system to attain the facility’s targets.
  • Recognize any zone of new facilities requiring Adjustment Regulate and record the adjustment proposal.
  • Offer requirements for critical spare/or replacement with vendor description (e.g. soft copies for Heater regulate, etc.)
  • Evaluate operating/servicing & maintenance standardized process under ongoing reality and propose modifications.
  • Formulate (Servicing & maintenance Position Routines) MJRs/servicing & maintenance standardized processes and work packs.
  • Recognize vendor assist requirement for tools servicing & maintenance.
  • Offer IT assistance in repairing outstanding mal-functioning tools (e.g. crude move Pump Motor etc)
  • Communication link with OEMs for trouble shooting, spare parts, site technical aids etc.
  • Assist the servicing & maintenance (process) team in all trouble shooting exercises.
  • Carryout servicing & maintenance standard procedure initiatives in line with organisation guidelines, local and international guidelines.
  • Engage in tools setback RCA (Root Cause Evaluation), investigative and advancement programs.
  • Involvement in MFI (Management Facility Inspections) and Health, safety, and environment sessions
  • Close out personal MFI actions other tasks for uninterrupted enhancements (AMS process application: RCAs, MTO, MEC etc.) as exigent.

At least Qualifications

  • National Certification (ND)/Higher national diploma equivalent in Sciences/Engineering with 5 – 8years work expertise as a site handler or maintenance personnel in an petroleum sector facility.
  • Prior expertise in an SPDC/Renaissance Oil Terminal Power Production should be a desirable asset.
  • At least 3 years in a leadership position within FOT Servicing & maintenance team.
  • Capability to read and analyze sophisticated Electrical and Management system schematics.
  • Skilled in diagnosing issues and fault rectification in Mars 100 Solar Turbines used for power production.
  • Must possess transformer and Switch gear accreditation from NAPTIN
  • Must possess cable jointing and termination accreditation from NAPTIN
  • Computer literate with competence in Office productivity software resources (Excel, PowerPoint, and word)
  • HV Overhead line (Up to 33kV) expert
  • Must possess NEMSA Electrical Installation Accreditation
  • Expertise in Process and Personal safety.
