Electrical Maintenance personnel at Wemy Industries Limited in Lagos

Position Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and dependable Electrical Maintenance personnel to join our team. The preferred candidate will be in charge of installation, diagnosing issues, fix, and servicing & maintenance of electrical operational structures, tools, and machinery to guarantee smooth and safe processes in adherence with organisation guidelines and compliance obligations. 

Primary duties

• Execute regular check, preventive, and corrective servicing & maintenance on electrical operational structures, machines,  and tools.
• Diagnose electrical faults and carry out efficient repairs without delay to reduce non-operational time.
• Offer IT assistance during installation of new tools, initiating, and upgrades
• Assemble, assess, test, and fix electrical or electronic wiring, regulate operational structures, and associated  parts.
• Read and analyze electrical/electronic circuit plans, diagrams, and schematics.
• Assembling and fabricating parts, using hand resources and requirements.
• Track and preserve stock of electrical spare parts, resources, and consumables.
• Guarantee adherence with safety guidelines, codes, and rules while carrying out electrical works.

Role expectations

• Higher national diploma / OND / Trade test, Technical / Vocational Development in Electrical Engineering or relevant field
• 1-3 years’ expertise as an electrician in a production operations, industrial or facility environment.
• Comprehensive expertise in electrical engineering designs, system setups, servicing & maintenance, and repairs.
• Competence in Electrical design and diagnostic running test software.
• Exceptional logical, critical thinking, and issue resolution abilities.
• Effective communication and partnership competencies.
• Great corporate and schedule control abilities.
• Readiness to operate changes, weekends, or on-call as necessary
