Job Description
Main Processes
The Agreements Consultant aids or directs the execution of project negotiating. This may comprise of plan and organizing work during early project development phases, vendor certification, top and coordinating business-related components of Pre-front end engineering design (FEED) / FEED / Engineering, Procurement and Building (EPC) agreement development process, helping in vendor assessment, selection, and honor endorsement, making sure implementation and management of premium quality prime agreements, and managing interfaces post-agreement honor for the project through agreement close-out.
Duty and Duties
- Supervises process, delivers outputs, and status reports resources to assist development of project negotiating plan, vendor certification, offer slates, tender, and assess proposals
- Conceptualizes thorough Negotiating Strategy(s) regular with entire Negotiating Plan
- Conceptualizes Invitation to Tender (ITT) bundles regular with duty matrix
- Sustains DB of all correspondence to guarantee all questions and explanations possess been
- properly recorded and concerns accepted to are reflected in concluding proposals
- Directs or aids talks of any contested binding terms and terms
- Adheres all agreement documents regular with selected proposer's proposal, subsequent explanations and concluding talks
- Gains concluding operational evaluate/endorsement of agreement documents, as necessary (e.g., Law, Audit, Managers, etc.), in addition to necessary endorsements
- Delivers pricing / other business-related evaluation to Project Team (PT) for development of agreement honor endorsement
- Helps PT in acquiring agreement honor endorsements/authorizations from Sr. Management and other participants
- Conceptualizes and sustains concluding agreement files (all parts), as necessary
- Conceptualizes and directs internal kick-off meeting(s) with Employees to guarantee agreement consciousness, assessments agreement conditions and terms, adjustment order process, and requests avoidance
- Conceptualizes materials for external kick-off sessions with Organisation and Vendor staff to evaluate key parts of the agreement (e.g. Chief Record, Synchronization Standardized process, adjustment order process, etc.)
- Directs or aids Agreement Management, which includes operating with project and business managers in aligning on agreement management duties
- Assessments and comments on Vendor’s negotiating and external contracting strategies, standardized processes, methods, and outputs to guarantee adherence with Organisation's qualifications
- Hastens and files Vendor business-related documents (e.g., coverage certifications, Parent Organisation Warranties, LOCs, etc.), and files authentic Bank Warranties/LOCs per accepted methods
- Assessments and status reports project file system / standardized processes and Master Record Register
- Assessments, status reports, and arranges PT binding correspondence standardized processes / communications, which includes any notices linked to the agreement (PT Record Allocation matrix)
- Conceptualizes and observes authorization process and adherence with billing and payment process
- Arranges adjustment regulate process, which includes: amendments, adjustment notices, adjustment orders and other agreement modifications (e.g., Management of Adjustment (MOC) process, Adjustment Order log, Deviation log)
- Manages Vendor’s external contracting initiatives, organize PT relation in Organisation evaluate / authorization of individual external contracting strategies, and delegate development initiatives from certification through honor / implementation
- Advises project team of agreement management and external contracting concerns, and steps being taken to reduce risk results
- Measures vendor effectiveness and delivers response through project and operational management
- Captures and communicates agreement management and external contracting organisation's lessons learned for project
- Conceptualizes the Agreement Close Out Strategy (part of Project Close Out Strategy)
- Establishes a close-out accord with Vendor (settlement of any outstanding items).
Competencies and Credentials
- BS in Engineering preferred
- Expertise in Agreements Engineering / Management preferred
- Previous expertise in a strongly connected role necessary
- Expertise in business-related talks, vendor management and agreement management
- Broad comprehension of project implementation and negotiating principles, theories, and notions
- Ready to business commute or relocate to project sites (domestic / overseas)
- Owner/Handler expertise in project coordination positions preferred
- Specialist certification / accreditation from associated specialist body, (ISM – CPM / CPSM, APICS, PMP)".
