Change Technician at Ascentech Services Limited in Sagamu, Lagos

About the Position

We are looking for an skilled Change Technician to join our Engineering team. The preferred candidate will bring robust specialized skill in electrical operational structures, PLCs, instrumentation, and preventive servicing & maintenance, with demonstrated expertise in FMCG or production operations environments.

Primary duties

• Operate, preserve, and diagnose issues Siemens PLCs, leads, and industrial regulate operational structures.
• Execute preventive, predictive, target-based, and system failure servicing & maintenance initiatives.
• Preserve and fix various types of motors (Air conditioning, DC, SEMO), cranes, and forklifts.
• Diagnose issues and fix industrial tools which includes:
• PLCs & leads
• Temperature & pressure sensors
• Heaters & motors
• Encoders & various sensors
• Hydraulic and pneumatic operational structures
• Ensure tools uptime and reliability by executing best servicing & maintenance procedures.
• Assist ongoing development programs to improve effectiveness and reduce non-operational time.

Credentials & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree / B.Technology. / Higher national diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Instrumentation.
• 5–10 years’ expertise in a FMCG or production operations environment.
• Solid understanding of Siemens PLCs, leads, and industrial automatic control -operational structures.
• Competence in servicing & maintenance of motors, hydraulic and pneumatic operational structures.
• Practical experience in preventive/predictive servicing & maintenance organizing.
• Outstanding diagnosing issues and analytical abilities.
• Capability to operate productively in change processes and under minimal oversight.
