Diesel Automotive technician at Olakleen Holdings Limited in Abuja

Role summary

The diesel automotive technician will execute diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles, finalize assessment, servicing & maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, forklifts, pickups, and other heavy-responsibility vehicles. As technicians, you will keep track of significant system parts which includes diesel engines, transmissions, brake operational structures, electrical operational structures, cooling operational structures, and steering operational structures. 

Duties

• Run diagnostic tests on vehicles.
• Evaluate diagnostic test outcomes.
• Replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking operational structures.
• Check vehicle lighting operational structures.
• Test pushing vehicles to gauge effectiveness.
• Execute preventative servicing & maintenance on service trucks.
• Preserve thorough records of serviced vehicles.
• Follow an assessment standardized process checklist.
• Preserve a parts stock.
