Job Description

We are seeking an skilled and driven Local Chef to organize a range of genuine Nigerian dishes in a clean, productive, and efficient timeframe.
The preferred candidate should be proficient in cooking traditional meals from different regions of Nigeria and be capable to preserve high guidelines of hygiene and taste.
This position requires someone who is dependable, diligent, and dedicated to supplying great-tasting local food every time.

Organize and chef a variety of Nigerian local dishes.
Ensure meals are readied without delay and served fresh.
Preserve a clean and hygienic kitchen environment at all times.
Follow recipes or directions offered and ensure uniformity in taste and visual communication.
Track and oversee food inventory and ingredients; documentation shortages.
Follow proper food storage and managing standardized processes.
Adhere with all local food safety and hygiene guidelines.

At least SSCE preferred; vocational or culinary development will be an added advantage but not required.
Demonstrated expertise as a local chef in a dining venue, hotel, or private home.
Capability to chef a range of Nigerian dishes confidently and repeatedly.
Basic expertise in food hygiene and safety guidelines.
Effective communication competencies and capability to take response.
Must be reliable and possess a positive mindset toward work.
