Physical Education Tutor at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) in Ibadan, Oyo

Syllabus associated duties:

• Strategize implement, and evaluate Physical education learning inside the accepted school Physical education syllabus structure jointly with the PYP Organizer and class teachers.
• Compose and execute learning targets that are difficult and measurable.
• Make sure that every facet of the IB PYP continuum are fully combined into all learning which includes the Approaches to Learning, the IB Learner profile and Voice, Choice and Ownership.
• Organize training and learning documents in line with the school regulatory framework.
• Offer the materials necessary to class teachers which includes but not limited to, input to on a weekly basis strategies, payments to unit planners and project sample materials.

Other duties:

• Take an active position in the wider group, engaging in extracurricular initiatives, school trips, and extension initiatives as necessary.
• Use all school assets productively with suitable deliberation of financial and ecological consequence of all decisions with particular attention to IITA’s dedication to build an ecologically sound future that takes into account the concerns of climate adjustment.
• Be in charge of conveying ideas clearly with external participants as parents on the individual advancement of students through all means used at The Global institution of IITA.
• Take on active oversight during planned obligations.
• To protect privacy of privileged information about students, faculty members, and management.
• Organize suitable and ongoing displays of student work.
• Read and properly use the IB standard procedures for PYP.
• Execute any other responsibility as may be allocated by the Manager.

Credentials

Bsc or Higher National Academic qualification in any Teaching associated course requiring at least 8 years of expertise operating in a school recommended an global institution (IBO, AISEN, AISA, COBIS or CIS).
