Position Overview

We are looking for a proficient Chinese Translator to assist information exchange by translating documented and spoken content between Chinese and English. The preferred candidate will ensure precision, cultural sensitivity, and visual precision in all translations.

Primary duties

• Convert documents, emails, and other materials from Chinese to English and vice versa.
• Offer verbal translation/analysis during sessions, calls, or demonstrations when necessary.
• Proofread and refine translated texts for precision and uniformity.
• Ensure translations communicate the intended meaning, tone, and circumstance.
• Work alongside team members to deliver on time and protect privacy of sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Competence in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English (documented and spoken).
• Demonstrated expertise as a translator or interpreter is a plus.
• Robust meticulousness and precision.
• Capability to manage private information.
• Effective communication and planning abilities.
