Role summary

  • Evaluate the scope of work, project preamble, drawings and requirements
  • Organize thorough budget forecasts for projects, contemplating materials, work and overhead expenses.
  • Coordinate with the on-site building team, finalise and validate the actual physical work done at the on-site to coordinate external vendor payments.
  • Oversee agreements and guarantee adherence.
  • Recognize promise financial risks and suggest plans to reduce risk them.
  • Evaluate project designs for cost-performance, proposing alternatives that preserve standards.
  • Carry out consistent on-site inspections to track development and guarantee alignment to agreements.
  • Supervising the quantity of materials received, issued, and used at the on-site by the external vendor to coordinate on a weekly basis advancement.
  • Evaluation of adjustment work Orders and Scope changes (External vendor and Customer) in line with the Agreement of Accord.
  • Track the flow of payments to subcontractors against financial plan quantities and actual advancement made.
  • Organize and Assess Bid proposals and bargain with service providers, and select appropriate offers.
  • Assessment of Material Specification and prices of Vendors /Subcontractors against Project Requirements.
  • Supervising projects regarding budgeted cost, requirement projections, and time overruns to guarantee the prompt implementation of projects.
  • Bargain pricing agreements with subcontractors and suppliers,
  • Project setup of BOQ and Subcontractors' appraisal
  • Formulate and execute new buying plans to supply ongoing cost reductions and process simplification.

Role expectations

  • Bachelor's degree / Higher national diploma in Quantity Surveying.
  • Must be a Registered Quantity survey specialist
  • 5 years of work expertise (Procurement expertise is a plus)
  • Robust logical and critical thinking competencies.
  • Robust bargaining ability
  • Sound expertise in building.
  • A good practical understanding of MS Excel.
  • Outstanding building relationship and people skills.
