Position Overview

The Tools Handler/Technician will ensure manufacturing workflows management and regulate over quality of manufactured goods within a Making or/and Packing Machine.

Your Primary duties

• Ensure machine accessibility to meet set target for machine uptime
• Track all unedited materials necessary for production operations initiatives and make sure that the right materials are used all the time in the production operations of cigarettes
• Guarantee alignment to all standardized processes and work directions
• Propose, implement, and record enhancements to eliminate losses
• Eliminate Root Cause of any outages relative to your tools
• Uses UPS resources (6W2H, Why-Why) for chronic stops to ELIMINATE them

What are we seeking?

• Expertise in any production operations environment with a minimum of 3 years’ expertise in a generation environment - compulsory
• National Certification (ND), HND qualification (Higher national diploma) or Bachelors of Science/Engineering - compulsory
• Robust technical and servicing & maintenance competencies
• Information exchange, partnership and people skills.
