Salesman - Truck Servicing & maintenance at Applied Engineering Technology Initiative (AETI) Limited in Lagos

Position Overview

The Salesman will be in charge of creating and preserving business for truck servicing & maintenance solutions, spare parts, and service agreements. This position requires building solid connections with fleet operators, logistics companies, and individual truck owners, making sure client fulfillment while meeting revenue goals.

Primary duties

• Advance and sell truck servicing & maintenance solutions, spare parts, and AMC (Yearly Servicing & maintenance Agreements) to current and potential customers.
• Recognize new commercial opportunities inside the logistics and transportation sector.
• Formulate and preserve robust client connections to motivate repeat business.
• Accomplish every month and every quarter revenue goals as set by the management.
• Organize and supply sales demonstrations tailored to customer needs.
• Work alongside service/workshop teams to guarantee quality service dispatch.
• Preserve precise records of sales initiatives, client engagements, and follow-ups using CRM resources.
• Track rival initiatives, industry trends, and client response.
• Assist promotional initiatives, exhibitions, and advertising initiatives.
• Offer after-sales assist and settle client matters in synchronization with the service team.

Credentials & Competencies

• Secondary school certificate or Bsc in Business, Promotion, or relevant field (preferred).
• Proven sales expertise in automotive / truck servicing & maintenance, spare parts, or heavy vehicles sector.
• Clear expression, bargain, and people skills.
• Expertise in truck parts, preventive servicing & maintenance, and fix solutions.
• Capability to operate independently and accomplish outcomes under pressure.
• Valid driving permit (ideally heavy vehicle permit will be an added advantage).
• Basic computer competencies (MS Workspace, CRM software).
