Change Technician - Electrical at Honeywell - Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc in Apapa, Lagos

Role summary

To assist the production and stock of good quality electric power for generation and other users while coordinating with with Deputy manager, Electrical and supporting participants in HFMP Tin Can.

Duties

• Process, supervising and servicing & maintenance of energy-producing sets and ancillaries.
• Process and servicing & maintenance of MV switch gears.
• Implement the organized standard procedure or preventive servicing & maintenance in line with defined checklist.
• Diagnosing issues and fix of electrical tools.
• Routine data recording of generator operating parameters and drafting of daily update of initiatives.
• To carry out regularly scheduled checks on the terms of electrical panels, batteries and connected tools and accessories.
• Track and ensure adequate inventory of generator spares in Engineering Store to avoid stockout.
• Work alongside AMC vendor deputizing staff to carry out servicing & maintenance initiatives.
• Ensure good room maintenance services in the generator and panel guest accommodations.

Qualifications

At least Trade Test II or NABTEB (NTC) in Electrical Engineering. At least three years of expertise.

The Person Must:

• Possess a good verbal and professional writing competencies.
• Solid understanding of energy-producing sets, MV switchgears, and electrical operational structures.
• Practical competencies in diagnosing issues, fix, and preventive servicing & maintenance of electrical tools.
• Capability to read and analyze electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical documented guides.
