Position Objective

To help JV Remote marine operations and Onshore sites in preserving the accessibility and reliability of all Process Safety, Instrumentation, Regulate and Metering Operational structures

Initiatives

• Arranges scope of work for authorized servicing & maintenance work programs making sure that supporting operating standardized processes and safety rules are transparently outlined. 
• arranges invoice of material for servicing & maintenance work and make sure that all necessary materials and tools are accessible as and when necessary 
• Arranges scope of work, calls for offers and problem these to service providers invited to tender for servicing & maintenance works to be carried out. 
• Make sure that the procurement of servicing & maintenance materials and tools matches the targets, needs and qualifications. 
• Aids the Chief of servicing & maintenance in the management of the servicing & maintenance thorough engineering initiatives. 
• Manages implementation of on-site servicing & maintenance modification works at on-site by external service providers making sure that the proper standardized processes are followed and that all modifications are properly recorded and carried out according to stated guidelines. 
• Helps with the evaluation of tools malfunctions and makes endorsement for fix and future preventive action. 
• Helps with the project setup of the preventive servicing & maintenance timetable for plant and tools. 
• Observes and status reports materials MRP data, evaluate inventory quantities, usage and usage to reduce the inventory value whilst making sure that all spare parts are accessible for standard procedure, system failure and shutdown servicing & maintenance. 
• Treats material requests from on-site servicing & maintenance, makes quality assurance on spares to be sent and arranges movements forms for accessible stocks to guarantee proper material explanation and nomenclature. 
• Ensures check in of all allocated servicing & maintenance initiatives in-field. 
• Make sure that that the preventive servicing & maintenance linked to Methods are carried out as organized. 
• Ensure updating of the CMMS. 
• Assist the entity heads in the project setup of Organisation’s estimate and annually financial plan strategies and follows up on any financial plan difference or settlement concerns with NAPIMS. 
• Troubleshoots sophisticated or recurring defeats which require technical evaluation and solution with the assist of other departments, vendors or authentic tools manufacturer and endorse sound and cost-efficient initiatives. 
• Liaises with vendors and the authentic tools manufacturers for all queries regarding servicing & maintenance, modifications, spare parts, drawings and the solution of technical challenges. 
• Make sure that all drawings, strategies, documented guides and Servicing & maintenance Tools Logbook (MELB) are current and “as built” and direct draftsmen to carry out all corrections and reflect any alterations, modifications and additions to electrical tools system. 
• Assessments and check work finished by service providers, ensures adherence with work is okay finished, make necessary corrections, and send to the Servicing & maintenance Methods Engineer for endorsement and payment processing. 
• Carries out any other obligations/projects that may be allocated to him/her by his structured order. 
• To help JV remote marine operations and onshore sites in preserving the accessibility and reliability of Electrical power Production, allocation and utility operational structures with all its ancillary tools.

Applicant background

• Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Instrumentation and regulates engineering (or equivalent) 
• 0 - 3 years’ operating expertise in an Petroleum sector or industrial plant as servicing & maintenance/mechanical/electrical/instrumentation engineer 
• Good expertise in industrial plant tools. 
• Technical status updates, good critical thinking, and computer software competencies 
• Robust people skills and team leadership abilities 
• Effective communication competencies, company and time-leadership abilities
