Position Overview

The Hostel Warden is in charge of coordinating the day-to-day activities of the hostel, making sure a safe, welcoming, and self-controlled living environment for students. This position concentrates on student welfare, preserving hostel discipline, dealing with employee concerns, and nurturing a positive residential group that aids academic and personal development.

Primary duties

• Oversee the daily processes of the male hostel, which includes guest accommodation tasks, servicing & maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Guarantee adherence with hostel compliance standards, and handle student matters in a prompt and specialist manner.
• Oversee hostel employees and promote a positive and respectful living environment for students.
• Work alongside the college management on hostel rules and student welfare programs.

Qualifications

• Bsc in hotel management Management, Business Management, or a relevant field.
• Proven 3-5 years of expertise in hostel management, facility management or a relevant field.
• Effective guidance and people skills.
• Capability to manage crisis conditions and settle clashes productively.
• Comprehension of student development and aid offerings.
