Position Overview
The Electrical Maintenance personnel will ensure the uninterrupted process, servicing and fix of diesel generators and welding machines used in pipeline building. The position concentrates on preventive and corrective servicing & maintenance to reduce non-operational time during welding, coating, hydrotesting and other pipeline site initiatives.
Primary duties
- Carry out routine assessment of diesel generator sets.
- Execute preventive (battery checks, load running test, alternator assessment, cleaning lubrication).
- Examine and service welding machines.
- Offer standby assist during critical welding processes along the ROW.
- Offer instant system failure response along the ROW to reduce disruption of welding spreads.
Credentials
Applicants should have a Certification in Electrical Engineering or a Trade Test in Electrical Servicing & maintenance.
