Chief Interface Engineer at International Energy Services Limited (IESL) in Lagos

Position Objective / Goal

The service will ensure the effective merging of scope with the wider BN project. It is anticipated that the engineer offering the service will ensure interface and consolidation management are submitted application accordingly and that interfaces are properly assessed in every facet of Bonga North Project thorough design, organizing, and implementation.

Key Duties

• Recognize, establish, map out all interfaces and connected bodies. Set out an interface management strategies with clear targets, interface matrix, timelines and intended results. Execute and track such interface management strategies with modifications as needed making sure targets are fulfilled.
• The execution of the BN Interface Management Strategy scope, which includes the prompt recognition and solution of interface and consolidation concerns between service providers.
• Be a initiative-driven Health, safety, security, and environment and quality leader and position model to the project employees and agreement group.
• Oversee the embedding of Health, safety, security, and environment/Quality into operational structures consolidation & interface work effectiveness, pushing no harm to people or the environment.
• Synchronization and interface management of subsea flowlines, hardware, and riser/umbilical scope interfaces as necessary.
• Proactively Recognize and settle interface and consolidation differences and report to higher support tier as relevant.
• Preserve and oversee the project interphase register and key decision log.
• Assist the PMs in coordinating and executing the lessons learned in the BN scope.
• Assist the rig sequencing programme to guarantee it aligns with the BN Project’s installation marketing.
• Recognition and management of technical interface risks and risk reduction.
• Oversee the SIMOPS strategy for the project while interfacing with wells and asset process initiatives.
• Application of project interface admin systems and supervising methods for development, wells, and facility interfaces.
• Synchronization of consistent interface sessions with suppliers and work bundles.
• In charge of associated scope interface diagrams, interface data, EPC duty matrices, and project interface query registers for SURF.
• Advocate the use of the interface management software amongst the BN project team and EPC service providers.
• Engage in audits and assessments of project scope and engage service providers regarding the management of their internal interface management operational structures.
• Engage and support to EPC stage key thorough design initiatives and project workshops (e.g.,HAZOP, HAZID, ALARP evaluations, etc.).
• Assist the implementation of wells, building, and fabrication initiatives both remote marine operations and onshore.
• Offer additional multidisciplinary assist (i.e., process, instrumentation, mechanical, technical safety, etc.) as necessary.
• Assist the project team in the management of adjustment (MoC) and its execution.
• Assist the Project to Asset (P2A) move process.
• Work alongside the Interface and Consolidation Head/Manager to recognize/exploit synergies and oversee common methods across the bundles.
