Job Description
Duties
- Advise and help management and staff on all Health, safety, security, and environment-associated concerns and industry standards.
- Formulate, execute, and track Health, safety, security, and environment rules and standardized processes in line with organisation and compliance guidelines.
- Carry out consistent inspections and audits of the remote marine operations facility to recognize and accurate possibility risks and violation concerns.
- Head and engage in system issue inquiries, root cause evaluation, and the execution of corrective and preventive actions.
- Supply and coordinate Health, safety, security, and environment capacity-building plans, which includes inductions, toolbox talks, and expert safety development.
- Oversee and preserve all Health, safety, security, and environment recordkeeping, which includes risk evaluations, safety records, and system issue documentation.
- Act as the point of reach out for external compliance-related bodies during inspections and audits.
- Advance a initiative-driven safety culture through information exchange, relation, and mentoring of all staff.
- Track ecological effectiveness and guarantee adherence with ecological rules and waste management standardized processes.
- Advise on crisis-management organizing and engage in crisis drills to guarantee preparedness.
- Track Health, safety, security, and environment key indicators, organize documentation, and report results for executive review.
- Make sure that all subcontractors and third-party staff follow the project's Health, safety, security, and environment qualifications.
Qualifications
- Education/A member of a professional body: A Bsc in Engineering, Ecological Science, or a relevant field. Specialist qualifications which includes NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are compulsory.
- At least 10 years of expertise in a devoted Health, safety, security, and environment position, with a minimum of 5 years of specific expertise in the remote marine operations petroleum sector industry.
- Demonstrated expertise with safety management operational structures and system issue investigative methods.
- Must hold valid remote marine operations qualifications which includes BOSIET, HUET, and a valid medical certification.
- Thorough expertise in international and local Health, safety, security, and environment rules, guidelines, and industry standards applicable to remote marine operations processes.
- Exceptional information exchange, visual communication, and people skills to shape and engage staff at all levels.
- Robust logical and analytical abilities for carrying out risk evaluations and system issue inquiries.
- Competence in getting ready clear and brief documentation and recordkeeping.
- Outstanding planning abilities and meticulousness.
- Capability to operate productively under pressure in a difficult remote marine operations environment.
