Job position
- Execute routine assessment and all necessary checks prior to release of aircraft to service
- Carefully Carry out all allocated standard procedure servicing & maintenance duty as stipulated in work directions issued by Green Africa Engineering and CAMO unit within allowed time frame
- Guarantee adherence with Green Africa’s standardized processes/regulate documented guides and relevant rules (e.g., Nig. CARs) in all servicing & maintenance initiatives
- Documentation, trouble shoot and correct aircraft and aircraft part defect and deficiencies in accordance with Green Africa’s standardized processes, manufacturer’s documented guides, and NCAA rules
- Status updates faults and deficiencies of facilities, resources, and tools in accordance with Green Africa’s standardized processes, regulate documented guides and NCAA rules
- Preserve office cleanliness
- Place order for inventory, parts, resources, tools, and materials necessary for servicing & maintenance initiatives (especially unscheduled duty)
- Advance safety inside the office
- Ensure proper recording of work carried out, part modifications etc in accordance with Green Africa’s standardized processes and in adherence with NCAA rules
- Make sure that all resources, tools, and materials collected for the completion of duty are duly accounted for after finalization of work but prior to release of aircraft for flight.
Credentials
- Aircraft Maintenance technician (AME) permit with airframe and powerplant ratings or Avionics rating/ EASA or FAA permit owner with Confirmation certification from NCAA
- Five (5) years related experience in preserving ATR 72- 600
- Served as a authorizing engineer for a minimum of three (3) years on type
- Prepared on ATR 72- 600 engine run up with a minimum of 2 years of expertise
- Possess a good expertise in servicing & maintenance agreements, manufacturer’s documented guides (AIPC, MMEL and MEL, FIM, SRM etc) and their usage
- Outstanding expertise in aircraft operational structures
- Outstanding defect trouble shooting and rectification competencies
- Have a good expertise in NCAA rules
- Thorough expertise in servicing & maintenance organizing, along with management monitoring of inspections, repairs, and modifications
- Have a good expertise in the inter-connection between various departments in an airline
- Effective communication competencies and must be computer literate
- Use of a servicing & maintenance software is a plus.
