Job Description
Objective
Offer assistance to the programme by undertaking technical and practical business duty to guarantee smooth, safe, and productive process of stock chain initiatives in accordance with the Processes Handbook and Programme Documented guide with compliance to the donor standard procedures.
Fleet & Transport Management:
- Supervise DRC's fleet system to guarantee process effectiveness and adherence with the DRC Fleet Business Handbook.
- Oversee vehicle requests and driver tasks for both DRC-owned and rented vehicles.
- Ensure vehicle registration, servicing & maintenance, fuel tracking and regulatory adherence.
- Track dispatched vehicles and provude status reports to the Accident and threat control team on possibility risks.
- Make sure that owned and rented vehicles are in safe operating terms as per DRC checklists.
- Check in on fuel usage, repairs, and expense monitoring for vehicles and generators.
- Preserve agreements for rental vehilces and ensure proper recordkeeping. Offer learning to drivers on safety procedures and fleet rules.
- Organize safe flight and helicopter appointments when necessary.
Asset & Tools Management:
- Verify that every assets (which includes IT tools, vehicles, and generators) are registered, tagged, tracked, and routinely preserved.
- Preserve an current asset register in DRC Dynamics (DYN) and track movement of assets across sites.
- Carry out periodic physical confirmation of assets and guarantee adherence with DRC's Resource control Handbook.
- Oversee asset disposal process as per donor and DRC standard procedures.
- Organize repairs and replacements of impaired or lost assets.
Warehouse & Stock Management:
- Ensure proper storage, managing, and recordkeeping of goods in accordance with DRC's Warehouse Management Handbook.
- Preserve precise inventory records and verify that every warehouse financial record are properly recorded.
- Make sure that inventory movements (receipts, distributions, dispatches) are documented in DRC Dynamics.
- Carry out consistent inventory counts and warehouse inspections to guarantee adherence with safety and stock guidelines.
- Collaborate with programme teams to guarantee prompt dispatch of items to site sites.
Facilities & Officer Assist:
- Oversee workspace and visitor house servicing & maintenance requests, making sure prompt repairs and upkeep.
- Track all facility-associated expenditures and advise management on cost-efficient initiatives.
- Ensure cleaning and guard solutions are properly handled and agreements are in place.
Credentials
- Bsc in Logistics, Management, Business, IT, Engineering, or other relevant field(s).
- At least 4 - 5 years of expertise in stock chain management, procurement, or logistics (ideally in the humanitarian sector).
- Solid understanding of procurement standardized processes, agreement administration, and market evaluation.
- Expertise with fleet and resource control, which includes vehicle tracking, fuel supervising, and servicing & maintenance plans.
- Knoweldge of warehouse management principles, which includes inventory tracking and stock regulate.
- Understanding with Microsoft Dynamics (DYN) or similar Enterprise platform planning/procurement software is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of donor procurement rules (e.g., ECHO, UNHCR, BHA, DANIDA, USAID).
- Outstanding communicaiton and bargaining ability.
- Capability to operate under pressure and oversee various key focuses.
Preferred:
- Adaptable and committed to work in a remote setting when necessary and also open to travel to different site sites.
- Expertise with standard procurement standardized processes and recordkeeping.
- Expertise with building and on-site project coordination.
- Expertise operating with electronic vehicle tracking channels.
- Basic to mid-career background with auto mechanics and electrical system setups.
- Expertise operating with an (I)NGO.
General Rules:

- Employees should not engage in any other paid activity during the DRC employment duration without prior approval.
- Employees should not engage in any acitivity that could hard the DRC or the execution of any project during the DRC employment duration.
- Employees should not offer interviews to the media or issue project-associated photos or other material withour prior approval.
- Employees shall return all borrowed equiptment for the project to DRC after the end of the employment duration or upon request.
