Top level Corporate consultant - PREP at TechnoServe in Kano

Position Overview

The Top level Corporate consultant, status updates straight to the Top level Programme Manager, will supervise the entire management of the programme's business strategize processes, and collection operational structures and ensure cost-efficient programme execution. S/he will also supervise market analysis and promotion initiatives in close partnership and synchronization with the programme employees to guarantee the successful, creative, productive, and efficient functioning of all participants’ development and capacity-building initiatives in the programme through efficient organizing, and dispatch of programme initiatives in partnership with other project team members towards delivering the common objective.

Project execution:

• Ensure the Corporate consultant productively supplies the digital plan, top to recipient adoption and relation.
• Head recognition and registration of certified participants (collectors, aggregators, and recyclers) for the programme.
• Organize a thorough market needs evaluation that will recognize the core zones, growth sectors, and parts of the plastic full operational cycle with avenues for entrepreneurship.
• Collaborate with the project admin to arrange development venues and logistics.
• Assist recipient development by  evaluating the Corporate consultant's development methods and offering feedback criticism.
• Build and preserve solid connections between programme participants (collectors, aggregators, and recyclers), making sure smooth partnership and productive processes.
• Execute a strong supervising system to guarantee all parties follow programme agreements, offering direction and corrective actions as needed.
• Proactively recognize and minimize possibility risks that could hinder project success, conceptualizing contingency strategies and adjusting the work strategy as needed.
• Guarantee standard dispatch of participants’ development and capacity-building initiatives in the project, which includes adequacy and appropriateness of development modules.
• Evaluate response collected by the Corporate consultant, recognizing practices and proposing enhancements to programme design and execution.
• Verify that every programme initiatives match with TechnoServe's values, aspiration, and plan, offering guidance and direction to the Corporate consultant on in charge and ethical programme implementation.
• Oversee and assist Business Consultants to guarantee quality execution of project initiatives.
• Offer consistent response, carry out effectiveness assessments, and set developmental targets to improve the Corporate consultant's competencies and proficiency.
• Constantly modify expertise on applicable procedures and distribute findings with the Corporate consultant to enhance programme plans.
• Make sure that all project documentation applicable to her/his zone of concentration are promptly generated and provided to meet project targets.

Preferred Credentials:

• Comprehension of business organizing, financial evaluation, risk mitigation strategy, and process effectiveness.
• Exceptional documented and spoken communication competencies, with the capability to transparently communicate effectively sophisticated information, bargain productively, and build teamwork inside the team.
• Expertise in a specific region/country or with a particular funder or donor.
• Robust people skills with the capability to participate a variety of participants.
• Understanding possessing applicable software (e.g., MS Workspace Suite, data evaluation resources) and business operational structures.
• International NGO Sectoral expertise.

Necessary Languages: 

Clear articulation competencies in documented and spoken English. Competence in the local languages of Kano state is highly preferred.
